Hey Guy's :I am trying to determine the year of a 115 hp Merc 6cyl Outboard I bought this spring installed on a 1980 Rinker.
The serial number is #OB358395 and I have not been able to match it to anything I have found online so far.
The motor is oil injected and the color of the stripes on the cowl are light brown and silver ,the front cowl has a teal color on it.
It is currently turning a 13x19 at 5400rpm
The motor also has power trim with the cylinders inside the the mounting rails.
I believe the motor was manufactured in the 80's due to the oil injection .
Any help would be apriciated -
