engine swap

Hey all. Looking for some info on an engine swap. I'm currently running a 40hp mercury, 2 stroke, 2001 model on a bass buggy pontoon and want to change to a 2000 model 75hp mercury 2 stroke. Does anyone know if these will change out and the wiring will interchange without any problems or will I be looking at buying some needed stuff. Color me ignorant.

The two motors use the same control box and elect harness so they should swap over without any problems.
