What's my outboard model year?

I have a 1994 Bass Tracker TX17 that came with a Tracker/Mercury 40hp from the factory. The original title was dated in 1993. My question is what is the actual model year of my outboard? The serial number is OD297918. I am looking for a repair manual and parts to bring it back to life. I want to make sure I get the right information for my model since there seems some slight changes around these years.
