I'm rebuilding the WMC11 carb on my 25XD; I have the SELOC manual, never done this before. Two questions:
The manual instructions don't seem to include removal of the throttle shutter plate, or the throttle shaft, but the photographs of the other procedures show the carb with this assembly removed. Any reason to remove it?
The instructions also do not refer to removing the seat for the check ball in the primer diaphragm assembly, which is held in by a metal retainer. (Parts 45 and 46 in the SELOC exploded view, page 4-62.) The rebuild kit I got has these parts but it's not obvious to me how to remove the seat, or whether it's a good idea.
