Compatible Tachs

I have a 2005 Bentley 20 Pontoon with a 2004 60 HP Mercury 4-stroke, EFI outboard. I currently use a Faria 7k TACH but would like to replace it with a Mercury Outboard 7k Tach Part #79-8952283A05. My question is can I reuse the factory wiring that Bentley installed for the Faria Tach for the Mercury Tach?

Yes the wiring will work, may have to change a wire terminal but it should work as it is.
