replacing water pressure hose leading to water press gauge on dash

I have a 2004 Mercury EFI 200HP. I need to replace the water pressure hose that leads to the water pressure gauge on the dash. Any tips/diagrams would be greatly appreciated.

Normally can tape new hose to end of old and pull old out and new in then just connect each end to gauge and engine.
