Hey guys ..... my background is in automotive engines and I/O boat engines. I just bought a 115 Mercury 2 stroke outboard. It ran good on the muffs when I bought it. Put it in the water and it started right up. Ran it for a few minutes just off idle then went W.O.T. It seems ok, brought it back down for a minute then hit W.O.T. again. It seemed to bog a bit and coughed a little. The third time I throttled it up it bogged bad and when brought back to idle it died. Didn't want to start at first but it will start on throttle only. When it starts and is brought back to "neutral" position it dies. I pulled the cover and the carbs all were very wet. I'm thinking the carbs are gummed / varnished up. Anything I'm over looking ? (stator and coils have been replaced last season ) Thanks in advance for any direction
