I have just purchased a new Mercury 9.9 Pro Kicker with Tilt for remote setup and I am looking to use my own console wiring. I am looking for the 8 pin wiring diagram so I can run the motor from the front of my boat. I was hoping Mercury would have provided a pig tail to hook up with but I was not that lucky. Here is what I have found so far and I just wanted to make sure I got it correct.
red= 12 volt positive
black= ground
purple= 12 volts key on power
grey= tach signal lead
black/yellow= ignition stop circuit
yellow/red= starter circuit
yellow/black= choke circuit
tan/blue= warning horn
red= 12 volt positive
