Hello
I got this engine off Craigslists after my other blew.
This is a 1987 Mercury 70HP 3 cylinder 2 stroke sn 0B228735
I was trying to hook up the trim gauge but I do not seem to be able to find the sender wire (brown/white).
I am not quite sure were the sender unit is on the engine exactly. Is it under the cowling on the port side ? Thats what I think from looking at illustrations on boatinfo service manual. or below that ?
And if there is none on the engine can I add one and what part would I need ?
