Have an issue with my 150, if you are looking at back of motor, I have spark on all 3 cylinders on right. No spark on all 3 on left. am wondering if it might be the switch box, (or) maybe the stater? do not know if the stater has left and right side or just over all. would like some feed back if you know? and Thanks in advanced.

Probably switch box
On earlier V-6 motors you can troubleshoot the ignition just by counting how many cylinders have spark. Each switch box controls 3 cylinders. The trigger has three coils in it each control two cylinders. Then each secondary coil controls that cylinder. So if missing spark on one.....coil... if two trigger ......if three switch box. The stator has a high speed and a low speed coil that can be checked with an ohm meter. You'll need a repair manual for the correct values. If you have a tachometer and it's working your voltage regulator or rectifier is working correctly. Hope this helps and good luck.
