200 DFI Optimax Fuel Problem

Needing help with an intermittent fuel issue. After coming on plane and running great, engine died and would not start. Same thing happened last year and would not try to fire at all. Took boat to merc after trying to diagnose myself and motor got clean bill of health. Fast forward 1 year and 4 tanks of gas running flawlessly and repeat occurs. Fires right up at ramp, idled for 5-7 minutes, planed boat out and it immediately died. Has not fired since. bulb is rock solid. E stop is set to run. Any assistance is appreciated.

First thing you need to do is check the fuel pressure. You can get a gauge at most auto part stores. There are two sizes common with those gauges and just make sure you get one to fit the smaller. The shrader valve is located on the vapor tank.
