Assembly fuel pumps, 4 stroke 90 hp

90 hp 4 stroke 2001 mod fuel pumps assemble:
There are two pumps, the frist was easy to put back, the second more difficult. Is it "normal" that it takes quite som effort to get it back in place? I had to press rather hard.
