I have a 2001 mercury 125 2 stroke. motor ran fine about 15 minutes later went to start motor and couldn't. the starter was extremely hot to touch. I checked all connections and everything looks good. it is very hesitant to turn over as well. could the starter be bad and not allowing to start?
