This has been a great motor very little trouble but over the weekend it started up fine and idled for a few minutes then just quit . After checking fuel I found that none of the cylinders had any spark , I pretty much ruled out the kill switches and am thinking the stator might be the problem only it has the red stator and I've been told the red one hardly ever goes bad and it is probably something else . My next step is to check resistance on two of the wires coming out of the stator and have been told that is the only test I can do with a multi meter . Can anyone think of any other tests or anything else I can check before buying a new stator only to find out its something else thats wrong .This engine has no wiring panels or box's , Thanks
