  • 60 HP EFI - fuel leak

I had a lot of water get into gas tank, have replaced onboard filters (on engine and on transom - is on a houseboat). Engine starts and runs great. However, there is a hose connected to the top of the fuel pump/carb that is leaking out water, the hose drains to the lower engine compartment and out (into lake). Only does this at low idle it seems. While at higher RPMs air is sucked in. If I block the hose, it collapses and engine dies. It seems this is for air. Pretty sure fuel should not be released into this hose, as it drains to the lake. Need help. It is not discharging a lot of fuel, maybe a pint after six gallons or so.
