Greetings all
I've an 03 15 HP Mercury 4 stroke which has a rather loud rod knock when the engine is first started. The noise ceases as soon as it get oil, and runs perfectly fine (except for a sometimes finicky idle).
I've found a 2008 powerhead on e-bay which looks great and is reasonably priced. My question is : does anyone know if a 2008 powerhead will bolt up to my 2003 leg? Is the flywheel, electric start and other items in the same place? Looking at the pictures available it appears to be identical.
Anyone know for sure?
