changing mounting brackets

Is it possible to change out the mounting bracket? i have a 1986 50 hp merc without tilt and trim. I also have a nonrunning 1986 70 hp merc that DOES have tilt n trim. I would like to exchange them if possible.

Check the part catalogs to see if the parts are interchangeable. Given that they are the same year and close in Hp I'd think they would be
