I currently have a 35 HP mercury (1986) and want to upgrade to a 1986 80HP engine. My question is, do I need to replace the entire harness that runs from the console to the engine, or is my existing harness compatable? I do need to get a new throttle because there is trim with the the 80 HP which I didn't have with the 35HP. Please advise
