2005 50hp Mercury 2stroke stall

My boat has been stalling uaually after a mile at full throttle. It just acts as if I pulled it into nuetral. It never cuts off, spits or sputters. I'll pull the throttle back to nutreul and it takes off as it should. (Some trips it runs perfect)
Ive checked gas for water, rebuilt fuel pump, replaces bulb and hose and check valve at tank.
It doesnt seem to be gas related, ive always used non-ethnol fuel, seafoam and stabil.
Could it be the rev limiter???

had the same problem, it may be overheating and then shutting down on you. Put you finger over the tell tale as the water is streaming out. If there is no force to the water you may need a new impeller and gasket.
