I have a 84' 115hp inline 6. 1st,- at wide open throttle I can only reach about 33-3400 RPM's trimmed out. 2nd,- I can only run WO for about 1/4 mile and then it acts like its starving for fuel, and falls on its face. If I back off it wont die. do I have an electrical problem, and/or a fuel delivery problem? Shouldn't I be getting around 4500-5000 RPM's?

Need to run a compression test, run a fuel vacumn test to see if have a fuel restriction, check spark on all cylinders with a timing light to see if loosing fire on any cylinder. May need to remove and clean carbs and rebuild fuel pump.Regards
