Hello, I have a question perhaps some can help me with. My '07 115 efi 4 stroke has been dieing when shifting into neutral, either from forward into neutral, or from reverse into neutral. No problems at all shifting into either gear. Motor runs great otherwise, starts easily every time, trolls perfect, runs flawlessly. But dies when docking and shifting into neutral, which we all know makes docking tough. Any thoughts on this matter? Thanks for the suggestions

Check shift switches at engine and check cable adjustments and linkage is not binding.Regards

Thanks for the reply. There is no problem as far as shifting, shifts great, just when going into neutral, the rpm's drop alot and it doesnt recover and dies. No problems shifting "into" gear at all.
When you say "check switches at engine", I have tried to do some research via google and have seen a "shift interruptor switch" mentioned several times. I'm not even sure I have one of these, just curious as to your thoughts?
