We have an 80's era Black Max 150 that has never seemed to run correctly. The motor starts great and seems to have a lot of power initially but won't get up on plane. Under power it just seems to lug and bog down. We have had the carbs cleaned, no change. Changed power packs, no change. We were then told our prop was too big, so changed to smaller pitch. Still no change. Has good compression and spark, but after starting in on the muffs yesterday 4 of 6 plugs wet. Did notice that on the power packs where it indicates "white/black", the wire is white only. Where it indicates "orange", there is a black and yellow wire. Thoughts? Could this be the fuel line or pump?
