1990 135 2.0 v6 block

Please help. Can or does anyone know if I can use a different year rebuild short block? my SS shows 1990 but most rebuilds start at 1991 up. Will a 1991 work?

1990 and 91 have same part number listed, should work.

Thanks for your help. I went on one of your links and found my # 11354120D which was glued on my power head. so iam now on the right track.hate to order the wrong block.. Now will my power head be nice to me and come off. Thanks again.
