60hp merc tiller conversion

I have a 60hp merc outboard serial# B396054. I've checked and believe its a 1989. My question is can it be converted to tiller steering? I've contacted mercury customer support and all they say is they don't make them anymore. I realize the kit is NLA I want to know if it's possible and the conversion kit number I would need. Any help would be greatly appreciated
