150 XR2 XR4 XR6

I would appreciate some information regarding the various versions of 150HP outboards that Mercury produced from the late 80's thru the 90's. What are the differences between the standard 150, the XR2, the XR4, and the XR6 models? (ie different powerheads, different lower units/ratios, etc.)
