Smoke issues

Hi to all ,havnt been here for a long time,anyway i have a 1995-75hp oil injected o/b,am now getting exsesive smoke ,a little hard to start ,but ideles ok,and opens up ok ,but lots of smoke,plugs arnt fouled,and comprestion is good,what could be possible reasons,ive been told that it is possibly the read valves letting the oil throuhg,also getting oil in bottom of cowling,thanks for any help peter.

May be a leaking seal in back of oil pump.
