60 hp 1996 merc no spark

I have a two stroke, model# 1060412SD. I get no spark, even after changing the plugs and wires. I lost my manual. How do I trouble shoot this. There was a guy online doing a stator resistance check, but he had the prescribed resistance. Any way to get such settings without having to buy another manual? And, what other steps are recomended?

You will need manual and a peak reading voltmeter. Need to test peak voltage output of stator, trigger and switch box to find out which one has failed.
