How do you remove the horizontal shift shaft in order to install Part# 815550-1
shift shaft? The instructions with the kit are vague.

If you are talking about shift shaft going down to gearcase, you will have to remove engine to get it out.

I am talking about the horizontal shaft that hooks to that vertical shaft and the shift linkage.
