ok i bought a brand new starter and put on and hit the key and get just a click i check my volts to the hot side of starter cylinoid and i have 12.3 then check the ignition post of the cylinoid when someone is holding the key turned and get 12.3 i tried crossing the cylinoid and the starter just spins but doesn't pop up i pryed the gear up and crtossed the cylinoid and it turns the motor over what can be causing this
