I own a 99 / 2000 optimax, 1,300 hours, I have secured all three diaphragms, from used broken engines. (and I consider myself lucky to have found them all.
, as all of them had holes in the them. I had been thinking of re-powering
that I noticed NONE OF THESE PARTS are available for ANY of the
the Optimaxs, 99 through 2007 and in many places the rails are now listed as obsolete. Does anyone know if Mercury is serious about service ?
I have so far called off the sale of new opti pending information.
I have been told EPA, but that is crap all cars have Pressure Regulators
and fuel regulators. Are the other boat motor manufactures following: suit or
is this just a Mercury thing?
