THE PROBLEM:

GEAR HOUSING (PROPELLER SHAFT)(2:25:1 GEAR RATIO)
SYMPTOMS:
GEAR OIL LOOKED LIKE MILK.
REVERSE BECAME DIFFICULT TO ENGAGE.
CHANGED OIL AND TAPPED SIDE SPROCKET WITH A WRENCH TO FREE GEAR.
RAN EVERY DAY FOR A FEW HOURS FOR A WEEK.
CHANGED OIL AFTYER SECOND DAY; IT APPEARED CLEAR.
REVERSE SHIFTING WAS FINE UNTIL END OF WEEK WHEN IT BECAME STUCK AGAIN.
CHANGED OIL AND TAPPED SIDE SPROCKET WITH A WRENCH TO FREE GEAR.
ONE MONTH LATER I USED IT AGAIN.
AFTER SEVERAL DAYS OF RUNNNING IT STUCK AGAIN.
COULD THIS BE A SHIFTER ISSUE? THE SYSTEM IS A SINGLE CABLE STEERING SYSTEM.
COULD IT BE THE REVERSE GEAR ON THE SHAFT?
IF I HAVE TO BREAK DOWN THE FOOT IS THEIR A GOOD MANUAL TO PURCHASE?
IS THERE A GOOD YOU TUBE CLIP TO USE AS A GUIDE?
