i have a 2012 mercury 75 hp optimax motor i want to put a new tachometer in the dealer never connected my old tach .plus he is 159 miles round trip ,what parts or harness would i need , also a wiring diagram

Would need to find out if you are using a Mercury tach or an aftermarket brand tach to match wiring harness and if have a side mount control box with key switch in box or a dash mounted key switch.
