I have a 94 sport jet 120. I have gas coming out of the front carb. I recently broke the air side T off the front carb. I replaced it with a 97 carb because I was told they were the same. Looks like the 97 doesnt have the T venting into the carb. So its just a straight piece. where the 94 carb was a true T venting into the carb itself. Everyone I talked to said it wasnt necessary to have it and the carbs were interchangeable. 1, is that true or do I need to go back to my old carb and figure out how to get it fixed. My bottom carb use to spit gas but I changed the float and cleared its L tube out and that one is not spitting gas. Please let me know what anyone else has experienced or how to fix
