Could someone explain the purpose of the Heater Manifold. I discovered it on the parts diagram.
3021 M Mercury Marine 130 Heater Manifold Diagram and Parts
Seems like its function is to absorb heat from the engine and transfer to the fuel going through it to make the fuel vaporize easier. But can't image that there would be that much heat transfer.
It does not seem have any moving parts, electrical connections.
Wonder why this configuration - but an extremely good and simple idea if my hunch is correct.
