Motorguide Trolling motor Freshwater 75lb

Anyone have any reviews on this mode? I have a 1990 Astro Bass/Ski and it has the orginal Motorguide trolling motor series 500 I think and 24v and really can not move the boat in a little wind. And foot pedal stinks. Was looking at the new Freshwater in 24v and 75 lbs like this one:MotorGuide Freshwater 75 lb Thrust Trolling Motor - Walmart.com

Anyone have any input on it? Seems like it will be better and reasonable priced.
