Installation of trim/tilt kit

I am wondering, if the side ram trim tilt kit from 80 hp, fits on 50 hp motor, are the cylinders same lenght and size?

What years are the two units you are inquiring about.

The 80hp is i think 1980, and my 50hp is 1987, 3 cly, but is the same clamp bracket as shown on the picture above from older 50hp 4 cly engine. On the internet i found an installation guide for trim kit, but i am wondering if the trim cylinders are the same size and lenght for 50 to 70hp, as for 80hp long shaft. My clamp bracket is without shock absorbers page 3, last picture on the link below.

Looks like it would work, cylinders should be same on both models.
