Tachometer for 2002 60 hp

I want to install a tachometer at the helm pedestal of my motor sailer. The motor is a 2002 mercury big foot 60ELPTEFI S/N 0T522469. The motor has a 10 pin connector which I believe is for a smartcraft data bus.

1) Is there a cable harness that will connect to the 10 pin connector and to a tach at the helm pedestal?

2) Would any software changes be required ?

Mercury can be quite confusing when it comes to rigging. If you have a smartcraft, you will need the following parts.

No software changes should be required.
