Mercury Remote Control Box

I am converting my 2012 Mercury Sea Pro Outboard (Ser: ON148894) to remote and on another thread have been instructed that the control box part number is 881170A_4. I understand this is the side mount control box (throttle handle on left side of box). My setup is a center console so the box will be mounted on the right side on my center console. Can the throttle handle be disconnected and connected to the right side of this control box or will i need a different control box?

Yes, the handles are reversable. Just remove handle and insert on other side.
