Hello, I wanted to upgrade my Mercury 40hp 2 Stroke output to 50hp. As far as I am aware the power head from my 40hp is identical to the 50hp of the same series and I would need to change carburetors and remove a reed block and fit a retainer? I would appreciate if this could be verified and the parts and part# to perform this upgrade thank you. Outboard details as follows - 2004 Mercury ELPTO 2 Stoke, Serial No. OT825061.
