I have a problem with Mercury model 115F13C (2004) We have traced to the ECU but would like some help as this is a costly part. We had trouble with it not starting after running and stopping for a period. Also RPM drop off at higher end, and latley would not turn off with the key. When this happens throttle becomes very hard to move. Can all these be linked to a faulty ECU? Thanks, Gregg

Yes this can be associated with the ECU. I would recommend having a dealer run a computer diagnostic to further help.Regards
