Hello, I am looking for some guidance on props. I currently have a 3 blade Quicksilver SS. 4816318A521p, I would like to get a 4 blade SS, for pulling water-skiers. Do I stay with the same pitch or go down 4 degrees. I have a MerCruiser 5.0 Alpha one. Thank you for any help!!

As an general rule you drop about 1 to 2 inch of pitch when going from a three blade to a four to compensate for the extra blade.
