Mercury Control Box..Neutral Button Stuck In

Hi,
Can anybody help me? I have a 2001 Mercury 150 hp Saltwater series outboard. The neutral button on the controls is stuck in the "in" position and I cannot get it to release, so I cannot get into gear. I also cannot see how to remove the throttle arm to look at the inner workings....Please help!

Not sure which style control box you have, some have a allen screw in bottom of handle that has to be loosen to handle off, probably will have to break button and replace it to get freed up.

Like mod said allen head under the bottom of the shifter handle.
Then a screwdriver along side the button and WD-40 Spray and wiggle???
