Excessive Cavitation

I have a 1988 Merc 20hp #0B523320. There is excessive cavitation with the current prop which is model 48 43586 A20L 13P. Do I need a smaller diameter? Thanks, Marty

Be sure the motor is mounted properly. You should not require a smaller diameter.
