Merc 9.8 110 series help?

I have a mercury 9.8 that i need to change a bearing in. it's components 65-58 i believe I may have to go to part 48 if the first bearing is cooked i would like to do both of them.

I am a capable mechanic but haven't much exp in marine. how do i teardown to this point?

You will require some specialy tools and a service manual.
