starter problems

I have a 2004 90 HP ELTPO model# 1090412CD, the starter will not kick in, there is a clicking sound upon turning key, will try to test solenoid if at all possible, any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks

Definately start with testing the solenoid. Verify you are getting 12v to the solenoid and out (if solenoid checks good).
