Ill give it the old college try...OK guys I bought a new Smokercraft Mallentia with what thought was a 2012 Mercury 4 stroke 115hp...but when I pulled the bonit off the outboard it said 2011...It states on the buyers contract that I bought a 2012...Now..Can they legally sell these new outboards in the following year and call it a 2012 when it really is a 2011...or do I have a legitimate claim here????? Sometime the manufacture date is 2011 but the motor is still considered a 2012. You don't have a claim.
