I have a 1987 70hp mercury that has a what I believe to be a gas assit lift. My question is would a power trim unit from a 1988 70hp mercury replace the gas assit lift on my 1987? I thank you in advance for any help with this
I'm not looking to purchase a new one I have acess to one off a 1988 70hp and would like to know if it will fit my 1987. Thank you for your time and patience with me
