Engine Temp

Force 120 in fresh water. What should the temp be for the thermostat. Always thought 130 for salt and 180 for fresh? Doesn't idle and I believe it is because it never gets warmed up. Should you run without a thermostat?

Use 130 thermostats unless having a lot of overheat issues then try the 118 thermostats.

You should run with a thermostat. Should idle, remove the carburetors and thoroughly clean.
