2011 Mercury 9.9hp outboard

I can only keep my outboard running if I continuously push the primer bulb on the powerhead. The bulb on the fuel line stays hard the entire time...please help.

What is the serial number? sound like fuel pump problems. If it has an on board tank, then be sure fuel valve is in right direction.

Sorry I don't have the serial number with me. It has an aux tank and the valve is conected correctly. The motor only has a couple of hours on it.
