no spark

i have a 85hp mercury thunderbolt outboard motor i took the boat out last weekend and notice fuel lines were cracked and dry rotted i replace them no i have no spark i checked the coils and there isnt no juice there it cranks over just fine if someone could help with any ideas i would be grateful thanks

Chek your kill switch before you perform ignition system checking.

i am not sure where the kill switch is located at

kill switch located near helm/ ignition switch. it should be switch to RUN position to make sure engine can be started.
